The History of Roulette



Roulette is a French term for "small wheel." Lots of historians believe that the game was developed in China and brought to Europe by Monks. The French are credited with developing the game which eventually evolved into the roulette games.

The game roulette became popular during the 18th century with the help of Prince Charles of Monaco. Prince Charles introduced the game roulette to his kingdom.

Roulette continues to be one of the most popular casino games. The most well-known games in roulette are the American roulette wheel and the European roulette wheel. they have differences in rules and about the payouts. They have major difference it is the color of the chips. Another, In European version the dealer uses a stick to swipe away chips while in America they simply use their hands.
